What is career management training?

Before we can define career management training, we should make sure we know what career management is. Basically it concerns helping people in their occupation qualification problems. If someone feels they're not suited for the job they do, they should consult with a career manager. After a few tests and a short conversation, this person will be able to give an opinion about the future career that should be chosen. Armed with that kind of knowledge we can slightly alter or even drastically change our whole life and we can expect that the changes will be only for better.

And what is career management training? It's an educational program designed to prepare someone to help others in finding their "way of life". Career management training concerns mostly on psychological aspects. It's important to properly understand the person you are helping. Every misinterpreted answer can be disastrous (for example, if someone is suited to become a dancer, he usually cannot be a successful computer programmer). Knowledge of psychology is also important, when it comes to writing and interpreting various tests, that are used during career management. Training in the proper interpretation of information that the "patient" brings with him is also important. A skilled career manager can tell quite a lot about us by just reading our CV and our references.

How to undergo career management training

First of all, you should be sure, that career management is a task for you. Remember, being a career manager is a big responsibility. Your decisions will affect future life of every one, that will consult with you. By making a false choice, you can even ruin someone's life. If you are decided that this is a job for you, you should find a school or a company that performs career management training (it is also possible to undergo such instruction via internet).

Of course, you'll have to pass the exam to be certified career manager. Without certification, no one will be willing to ask you for help and no career management agency will consider to employ you. As you can see, career management training is not so different from other training programs. The only difference is, that after completing such training, your job will bee changing life of other's.

What is career service training?

To put it in the simplest way possible, career service training is a type of course that allows one to help the young ones chose their future way of living and their future line of work according to their abilities and skills. But let's be more precise. When we are young, we are all full of ideas for living. Everyone have their own dreams, their hopes and their fears. What we all don't have is an assurance that at least some of our dreams would ever come true. All of us try to fulfill them, but some of us failed. Now, if we were to ask them what they did wrong, they would probably answer that they chose to pursue the wrong dreams. When one undergoes career service training, they will be taught how to help the young ones to avoid wrong choices regarding their future. Armed with psychological knowledge, they will be able to determine the strong points and weakness or one's characters. Their job will be to evaluate predispositions for a job and determine which job would be the best.

How to undergo career service training

There are at least three ways to undergo career service training. The first one is a school. There are many psychologists that specialize in career service. The advantage of this kind of education is that a person trained in this manner has the knowledge necessary not only to determine one's predispositions, but also to help him in many other ways. Another way to undergo career service training is a career service course. Such course (usually arranged by some sort of school or instructing company) will focus only on the problems of career service. The third way is to undergo such training through distance learning (for example via internet). Such way of studying also concentrates solely on career service and knowledge that can be gained by such training, is not different from the one gained from a classical lessons. Remember: career service is a job that requires a lot of responsibility. After all, every advice and every suggestion will affect someone's life and future.
